What is Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST)?

Facia Stretch Therapy is a unique, complete and complementary system of table-based assisted stretching. It Focuses on the fascia and joint capsule as the key elements in achieving optimal flexibility, mobility, strength, performance and pain relief.

Fascia Stretch Therapy was developed by Ann Frederick, the first "flexibility specialist" to work with athletes at the Olympics, FST aims to improve every aspect of performance and recovery. Fascia is fibrous connective tissue that wraps and supports muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, organs, and nerves. Fascia Stretch Therapy focuses on the fascia and joint capsules in achieving optimum flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief.

FST™ will help uncover areas of tightness you didn’t realize existed, while simultaneously creating release through a gentle, pain free, traction/contract and relax approach.

what to expect

Your session will start with a range of motion and postural assessments and review of your health history. You are fully clothed for FST, so you will want to wear comfortable, loose clothing to accommodate movability during your session(s). You will lie on a soft table in a room with low lighting to create a relaxed atmosphere. Soft straps may be used to help stabilize you during the FST session.
