Fascia Stretch Therapy

WHAT IS FASCIA STRETCH THERAPY (FST)?

Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) is a dynamic, full‑body approach to assisted stretching that focuses on the fascia — the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports your muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, and joints. Unlike traditional stretching methods that target only the muscles, FST works through the fascia and joint capsules to unlock deeper mobility, improve flexibility, enhance strength, and reduce pain.

Developed by Ann Frederick, the first “flexibility specialist” to work with Olympic athletes, FST is grounded in years of research and proven results across both athletic and clinical environments.

During a session, gentle, pain‑free movements are combined with traction and contract–relax techniques to release tension, restore balance, and increase range of motion throughout the body. Many clients are surprised to discover restrictions they didn’t even know they had — and even more surprised by how quickly they feel the difference.

Whether your goal is to boost athletic performance, recover faster, or ease chronic tightness and discomfort, Fascia Stretch Therapy offers a science‑backed, highly effective way to help your body move and feel its best.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your session begins with a brief range‑of‑motion and postural assessment, along with a quick review of your health history and goals. This helps ensure your Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) session is tailored specifically to your body and what you want to improve.

You’ll stay fully clothed for the entire session, so wear comfortable, loose‑fitting clothing that allows you to move easily. Sessions take place on a soft treatment table in a calm, low‑lit environment designed to help you relax.

Throughout the session, your therapist will gently guide your body through a series of assisted stretches using smooth, pain‑free movements. Soft straps may be used to stabilize certain areas, allowing for deeper, more controlled stretching without strain.

Most clients leave feeling looser, lighter, and more balanced — with noticeable improvements in flexibility and mobility right away.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy at B4 Club Therapy goes beyond relaxation — it’s a key part of recovery, performance, and overall wellness. We use evidence‑based techniques to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore balance. Every session is customized to your goals, whether you’re training, recovering, or managing everyday tension.

Sports Massage

Sports massage targets muscles, tendons, and tissues stressed by athletic activity. Using focused pressure, stretching, and movement‑based techniques, it helps:

  • Increase circulation
  • Reduce tightness and break up adhesions
  • Improve flexibility and joint mobility
  • Support faster recovery between workouts

Ideal for athletes during training cycles, competition, or off‑season maintenance.

Traditional (Therapeutic) Massage

This style blends relaxation with focused work on areas of tension. It helps calm the nervous system while easing everyday discomfort. It can:

  • Reduce stress and mental fatigue
  • Relieve soreness from work, training, or posture
  • Improve overall muscle function and blood flow

Perfect when you want to unwind but still feel physically restored.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

A gentle, rhythmic technique that supports the body’s natural detox and fluid‑movement systems. It’s especially helpful for:

  • Reducing swelling and inflammation
  • Supporting recovery after injury or surgery
  • Improving circulation and immune function

Great for post‑training inflammation, acute injuries, or general fluid retention.

Active Release Techniques (ART)

WHAT IS ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUES (ART)?

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a specialized, hands-on therapy method designed to identify and correct soft-tissue restrictions caused by overuse, injury, or repetitive stress. Through a combination of targeted pressure and guided movement, ART works to break up dense adhesions, release tension, restore optimal muscle length, and improve overall function.

Unlike general massage or stretching, ART is a precise, anatomically driven technique. Each session involves evaluating the movement of muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves to pinpoint the exact area of restriction. By improving tissue quality and mobility, ART can reduce pain, improve range of motion, and restore proper biomechanics—helping you move the way your body was designed to.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your ART session begins with a short movement assessment and conversation about your symptoms, activity level, and areas of concern. This helps us identify which tissues are restricted and how those restrictions are affecting your movement.

During treatment, your provider will apply precise tension to the targeted muscle or soft tissue while guiding you through specific movements. This combination of pressure and motion helps break down adhesions, reduce stiffness, and restore mobility. Some movements may feel mildly intense, but never painful—and you’ll always be guided throughout the process.

Sessions typically last 15-30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Most clients feel immediate improvements in range of motion, reduced tightness, and a noticeable boost in functional movement.

Add-on Therapy

ELECTROTHERAPY (E-STIM)

E‑Stim is a safe, non‑invasive treatment that uses gentle electrical currents to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and support natural healing. It’s commonly used in athletic training, physical therapy, chiropractic care, and recovery settings.

During treatment, small electrodes are placed on the skin over the targeted area. The stimulation activates muscles and nerves, helping improve circulation, relax tight tissues, and ease discomfort. Most people describe the sensation as a light tingling or pulsing.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before your session, we’ll briefly discuss your symptoms, activity level, and recovery goals to choose the right type and intensity of stimulation.

Sessions typically last 15–30 minutes. You’ll remain clothed, but we’ll place small electrode pads directly on the skin, so loose‑fitting clothing is recommended for easy access to the treatment area.

During the session, you’ll feel a gentle pulsing or tingling sensation. The intensity is always adjusted to your comfort, and many people find the experience relaxing as muscles begin to release tension.

E‑Stim aims to reduce pain, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural healing process — helping you move and recover with confidence.

THERM-X

Therm‑X is an advanced recovery system that delivers targeted heat, cold, and compression to help reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and speed up healing. Using precise temperature control and dynamic compression, Therm‑X supports circulation, eases sore or tight muscles, and enhances overall recovery. It’s an excellent option for athletes, post‑surgical patients, or anyone looking for fast, effective relief and improved mobility.
